Hello, my name is Michael Hovan and I am deeply engaged in the art of storytelling and making the unreal become reality. I would have to say that my journey began at the age of three when I started to get interested in music, books, television, and film, all those things that fire up those neurons and get the creative juices flowing, and I’ve been on a journey ever since.
I feel that at the core of my creativity there lies a deep passion for the art of storytelling and its many different forms. For my part in the ongoing saga of the art of story I have pursued tiny moments to frame an alternate reality to affect an audience, be it in videogames, television, film, or my own writing.
My passion for the art of storytelling has taken me on an adventure to three continents, from North America’s Vancouver British Columbia to Europe’s Berlin and Frankfurt and to the Southern Hemisphere’s Auckland, New Zealand. My journey has taken me around the world where I have had the privilege to work on creative projects with many diverse and talented people.
I continue to hone my craft, striving for technical perfection and imaginative vigor, while keeping my eye on our deeply fascinating and inspiring human adventure.
